What is Galvannealed?
Galvannealing is a process of galvanizing and annealing steel to produce a product that is strong, durable and corrosive resistant. This steel is used when you need the paint-ability and a long, reliable service life. It's rust proof like galvanized steel, only better - It's paintable!
Why is this better than the “Red Shed”?
Our original steel required a red primer paint to protect it. With Galvannealed steel, the product does not have to be painted to be non-corrosive.
Do I have to paint my shed?
No, you don't have to. However like any material left out in the elements, it requires some maintenance. Therefore Man Products still recommends painting to enhance the longevity of the product and to ensure a finished look. We supply all Man Products customers with a reference number for 40% off all Sherwin Williams paint. Slight discoloration or white marks of the galvannealed steel are common if unpainted.

verb (used with object) , gal-van-nealed, gal-van-nealing : to coat with an alloy of iron or steel and zinc produced by heating a surface already galvanized with zinc. The hot-dipping process gives a very fine, grayish matte finish.
